Portland metro-area Field Trip
Guide - Many recycling facilities in the
Portland metro-area welcome school and youth group field trips. To download

that provide resources for waste reduction education.
Grants - Many local jurisdictions
offer start-up and/or incentive grants to schools for waste reduction ,

Awards are available
to NEW Oregon Green Schools and to current schools that move up to Merit
or Premier status.
